Vorhangeschloss Brücke – Salzburg – Austria Love locks
Salzburg is located in Austria, and mostly known as the hometown of Mozart. Naturally the love padlocks found their way into this cute little town. The padlocks of love can be affixed to the Makartsteg, which is a pedestrian and bicycle bridge connecting the Historic City Center with the Mirabell Palace and Garden. The bridge got is named after a historicist painter, Haus Makart, who was born and raised in Salzburg in the 19th century. The bridge – which looks pretty modern and unusual – spans the Salzach River. The unique form of the bridge is due to reconstruction because of architectural problems in 2001. Among the citizen it is mostly known as the ‘Liebesbrücke’, which means ‘Love Bridge’. So this is a perfect place to express your everlasting love to somebody.
