Austin is the „capital city” of Texas, lying on the coast of Colorado River. It is the fourth biggest city in the state.
Out of the six bridges in Austin, the tradition of love locking sneaked its way into the Pfluger Bridge. It was named after James D. Pfluger, an architect, who designed a part of Autin’s hike and bike trail system. It links the north and south sides Hike and Bike Trail. Thus the bridge can be used only by pedestrian and cyclist.
The Pfluger Bridge - opened in 2001 – spans the Lady Bird Lake. Its kind of modern and unique double curved shape makes it special. As usually, the love locks can be attached to the bridge’s railings.
